Ashley Garcia has undergraduate degrees in international studies and religious studies from the University of Miami, a juris doctorate degree from the George Washington University Law School, and a master’s degree in global strategic communications from Florida International University (FIU).

She has nine years’ experience in media relations, journalism, and writing at FIU. She has also worked as a freelance editor for the grammar and copyediting website Helloessay and as a contributor for the lifestyle website Brit + Co.
