Professional Development
Your membership provides you with free or discounted access to a variety of professional development resources. Here is an overview of each resource and how to access it.
WEPAN Knowledge Center
To access the WEPAN Knowledge Center, visit this section of the WEPAN website. Here you will find more than three decades of research and promising practices to support your work toward more diverse, equitable, and inclusive engineering educational spaces and workplaces. These include a curated and searchable annotated bibliography, conference proceedings, a data archive, webinar recordings, and interviews with STEM thought leaders.
Professional Development Webinars
To access WEPAN webinars and related resources, visit this section of the WEPAN website. Recent topics have explored advocacy and allyship, increasing the diversity of faculty candidate pools, using universal design in engineering education, mitigating bias, and much more!
Workshops
Like webinars, WEPAN workshops focus on topics relevant to creating inclusive cultures in engineering. They are typically 2-3 hours in length and allow participants to dive deeper into a topic. As a member, you receive discounted access to these workshops! Workshops are announced on our events calendar and through the WEPAN Newsletter.
Program Days
WEPAN Program Days allow participants the opportunity to connect around a common theme and share best practices. Join us for the Women in Engineering Program and Women of Color Summit. As a member, you will receive discounted registration to WEPAN Program Days. Program Days are announced on our events calendar and through the WEPAN Newsletter.
Annual Convening
The next WEPAN Annual Convening, will be hosted in partnership with the ADVANCE Resource and Coordination (ARC) Network. As a member, you receive discounted registration to this convening. The Annual Convening is announced on our events calendar and through the WEPAN Newsletter.
At the convening you will have the opportunity to network with diversity, equity, and inclusion researchers, practitioners, and change agents as well as a diversity of scientists and engineers, WEPAN members, scientific and engineering professional society leaders, national labs, NSF program officers, and more!

As a member, you are an authorized user of the WEPAN-L listserv, which allows WEPAN members to share resources, seek advice, and stay informed on issues related to diversity and inclusion in engineering. If you have forgotten your username, please contact us at admin@wepan.org.
All messages sent to WEPAN-L flow through a moderator prior to being posted. Click here to review the WEPAN-L instructions and usage guidelines.

With channels for sharing articles and books, celebrating accomplishments, posting jobs, engaging at the annual convening, discussing key topics, and more, the WEPAN Slack group is a great place to engage with the community.

WEPAN Partner Onboarding Guide
Thank you for being a WEPAN Partner!
The following guide will support you in engaging in the community and accessing a host of resources available to you as a WEPAN Partner, including:
Partner Representatives
To VIEW/EDIT your list of Representatives, follow the steps below:
1) Click on the “Manage Profile” button above (A pop-up window will appear.)
2) On the left navigation, select “Team Members.” You can add and remove individuals from this screen.
To ADD new representatives to your list:
1) Click the “Invite new team member” button.
Enter the email, first name, and last name of the individual you wish to invite.
- Click the "Invite new team member" button a second time to add them to your list.
This will send the individual a confirmation email asking them to create a username and password.
Example of email the individual will receive:

To REMOVE a representative from your list:
- Find the individual's name on your list of representatives.
- Hover over their name, and click the bright red "X" icon to the right of their name.
- Confirm you want to remove the individual.
This will remove them from your list and revoke their access to your WEPAN benefits.
To PROMOTE a representative to the account owner:
- Find the individual's name on your list of representatives.
- Hover over their name, and click the dark red up arrow "↑" icon to the right of their name.
This will promote them to the account owner and make the current account owner a representative.

Planning is currently underway for the next WEPAN Annual Equity in STEM Community Convening, which will be hosted in partnership with the ADVANCE Resource and Coordination (ARC) Network.
At the convening, will have the opportunity to network with and advertise to diversity, equity, and inclusion researchers, practitioners, and change agents as well as a diversity of scientists and engineers, WEPAN members, scientific and engineering professional society leaders, national labs, NSF program officers, and more!

Equity and Excellence Council
Your 30 for 30 Institutional Championship Membership entitles you to membership on the Equity and Excellence Council. This cohort of committed institutions at the forefront of achieving equity in engineering will meet twice a year to network, share best practices, and strategize.

As a member, you are an authorized user of the WEPAN-L listserv, which allows WEPAN members to share resources, seek advice, and stay informed on issues related to diversity and inclusion in engineering. If you have forgotten your username, please contact us at admin@wepan.org.
Any new representatives you add will also be added to WEPAN-L's distribution list. They will receive an email from the list once their email address has been added.
