Pamela Leggett-Robinson is the CEO and Executive Director for PLR Consulting, Inc. in Atlanta, GA. PLR Consulting, Inc. is a boutique consulting firm that assists and empowers organizations, institutions, tech, and other industry sectors in broadening participation by building and retaining a diverse STEM workforce through program development and evaluation, project management, and evidence-based coaching. Dr. Leggett-Robinson has more than 20 years of higher education experience, including faculty coaching, STEM academic and student success/support programming, strategic planning, data analytics, and program evaluation.
Her leadership coaching expertise (leadership and transitional) intersects program evaluation and project management. Regarding research and evaluation, Dr. Leggett-Robinson has garnered over $7 million in federal funds as a PI and CoPI for her work in broadening participation in STEM and serves as an evaluator for large NSF projects (Big Data, BioGraphI, AGEP, and INCLUDES) grounded in racial equity work.
Dr. Leggett-Robinson’s latest publications, ”Demystifying Promotion & Tenure: A Resource for Black Women” and “Overcoming Barriers for Women of Color in STEM,” are resources to assist Black women along their STEM journey. She distributes a bi-monthly Overcoming Barriers Newsletter to Women of Color STEM faculty.
